Dear valued member of the Naada Yoga Community,
We have missed you greatly. Keeping Naada Yoga moving forward online has made it clear to us that teaching at a distance will never replace supporting our students in person within the walls of this centre. That being said, without your participation in our LIVEstream classes this centre would have most certainly have had to close its doors permanently and through this new platform we have reconnected with many of you who have left Montreal, have reached a global audience, and have helped many nurture a regular home practice. While being an enormous challenge it has strengthened our bond and accelerated our evolution together.
We are thrilled to announce that our studio is REOPENED to in studio classes
The safety of our community and staff is of utmost importance. All in-studio classes will offer a live stream option if you prefer to remain online. Please reach out to info@naada.ca if you have any questions about our re-opening plans.

Here is what you can expect for in-studio classes.
Smaller classes
-
Classes will be held in our upstairs studio only (normal capacity 70). We will be limiting our studio class size to 21 students.
Registration
-
In order to participate in our studio classes we recommend that you register in advance. Last minute drop ins may not be permitted as our available spots are limited.
Cancellation Policy
-
As our indoor class sizes are dramatically impacted by social distancing and sanitation procedures, we will have to enforce temporary cancellation policies that are more stringent than our previously held policies.
1. Cancellation Window: Students can cancel their class through Mindbody Online 3 hours ahead of class time without penalties.
2. Late Cancellation: Students that cancel within the 3 hour window before class or fail to show for class will be charged a $10 fee.
Arriving and leaving
-
The studio will be made available to enter 20 minutes before class starts. Please consider coming early so that we may best manage the incoming student traffic with ease while respecting social distancing.
-
A mask is required in order to enter the studio and must be worn in all common areas.
-
The doors will be locked at start time so late entrance will not be permitted.
-
Once you are on your mat you may take off your mask for the duration of the class. Please wear your mask should you need to leave your mat for whatever reason.
-
Please leave in a staggered fashion so that we can manage our traffic in a safe manner. This could be the opportunity for the extended savasana you’ve always wanted!
Spacing in studio
-
We have marked down with tape the required spacing of mats. Please place your mat within the outlines provided. Please note we are following all the recommendations of the INSPQ (National Institute of Public Health of Quebec), MSSS (Minister of Health and Social Services) as well as the CNESST in order to protect yourself and our staff.
Rental mats and props
-
For the time being there will be no rental mats or studio props available. In the meantime we are stocked with a complete supply of all necessary props for sale. Please note we will no longer be offering communal mat storage. We have a limited amount of lockers available for monthly rent as well as new individualized storage solutions for your mat and personal props.
Cleaning
-
Naada Yoga will be sanitizing the studio floor after each class. We will be cleaning the entire studio each and every day. This includes all railings, door knobs, water dispensers, and bathrooms.
Hand Sanitizing
-
Naada Yoga has installed two hand sanitizing areas, one at the front desk and one at the entrance of the studio. Please use these stations as you enter and leave the studio. We ask that you please wash your hands in our entrance or in one of our two bathrooms upon entry as well.
Air filtration
-
Naada Yoga’s studio is equipped with a HEPA air filtration and fresh air exchange system. We have changed all the filters and will be opening all windows during class to ensure the best possible air quality and exchange.
Assisting and adjustments
-
Our teachers will be teaching from the mat for the next several months. There will be no hands on assists or movement around our studio room.
Infrared Sauna + Showers
-
Our infrared sauna and showers will not be available for general public use for the time being.
Reminder
-
If you are sick or are experiencing any symptoms whatsoever we please ask that you refrain from participating in any in-person class (studio or park). Symptoms include dry coughing, feeling of pressure on the chest, headache, unhabitual tiredness or shortness of breath.
Thank you
We are not sure what the yoga world will look like moving forward but we do know that this community is authentic and our interactions are meaningful. In overhauling our centre we have considered what the true meaning of our services are and have come to the conclusion the value of serving Naada Yoga’s community remains unquestioned. Together, we will continue to answer how we move forward collectively in this new reality. Thank you sincerely for your continued support through this fragile period and practice together moving forward.
See you in the studio and online,
Naada Yoga
