VIRASANA

Primary Principles:

  1. Foundation: Thighbones draw back towards the hips and push the legs and pelvis down into the floor. Shoulders loop back and keep the chest from collapsing.
  2. Primary Movement: Flexion in both hips and knees.
  3. Breath: Inhale to prepare. Exhale to move into the pose.
